An 11-year-old girl has been injured in an alleged hit-and-run involving a cyclist.
The incident took place between 4pm and 4.20pm on Ocotal Way, outside St Joseph’s Catholic College in Swindon, on Thursday, November 21.
The young girl was allegedly hit by a female cyclist, causing her to fall over and fracture her finger.
She also sustained other injuries during the incident.
Police say that the cyclist reportedly left the scene of the crash without checking on the welfare of the child.

She is described as a white female, of slim build, with grey hair worn in a top bun with a fringe.
It is believed she was wearing a black padded jacket and Sketchers trainers at the time.
Police are currently investigating and have urged any witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force added: “We are appealing for witnesses following a fail-to-stop collision between a cyclist and a child outside St Joseph’s Catholic College, Swindon, last Thursday (November 21).
