Four people have been arrested after police carried out a series of raids targeting “drug supply” in Swindon.

Officers from the Swindon North, East, and Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team were part of a spate of warrants executed in the Abbey Meads and Redhouse areas of the town.

These operations were carried out during the week of Monday, November 25, and were aimed at disrupting drug supply in the area.

A total of four people have been arrested at this stage.

Officers have urged anyone with information about ongoing criminal offences to come forward.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “The team have carried out warrants in Abbey Meads and Redhouse over the last 36 hours, aiming to disrupt drug supplies and criminal activity in the area.

“There have been four arrests so far, as part of ongoing investigations, and we will release more details as we are able to.

“These warrants have come about thanks to information given to our PCSOs and officers by concerned members of the public.

“Without this intelligence it would be impossible for us to go to court and get permission from magistrates to enter the properties to carry out searches and make arrests.”
