The youngest band to ever have an album debut at number one, McFly, have been added to the line-up of a star-studded festival.

McFly will be playing at Forest Live at Westonbirt Arboretum in 2025, 21 years and seven number-one singles after the band first formed.

They join Snow Patrol, Sting, Elbow, Paul Heaton and The Script on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

A Forest Live spokesperson said: “Continuing to push boundaries with their larger-than-life sound and thrilling live show, McFly – best known for hits including ‘Five Colours In Her Hair’, ‘Star Girl’, ‘Obviously’ and ‘All About You’ – remain the youngest band ever to have a debut album go straight to #1.

“The band have performed everywhere from the intimate Camden Underworld to the Royal Variety Performance and two sold-out O2 Arenas. They have previously scored seven #1 singles, multiple Platinum certifications and a BRIT Award.”

Over two million people have attended Forest Live gigs nationwide over the last 23 years.

The money raised is used by Forestry England to maintain the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests for everyone to enjoy, run important conservation projects, and keep growing trees.

Tickets will go on sale from 10am on Friday, November 15.
