This week the do gooders supreme group Liberty, said that the devices known as Mosquitoes, things that make a noise only the under 25’s can hear, should be banned because they infringe the human rights of the yobs that hang around shops.

This particular device emits a sound that supposedly irritates said yobs, causing them hopefully to move on and make going to the shop safer for say, old ladies or maybe women, or even blokes, all of whose rights apparently don’t count. Well Liberty don’t seem to think so anyway.

Really, this passive modern deterrent, if it works is harmless and if it does stop ‘da youff’ congregating in public areas where they intimidate people, that cant be bad, can it?

The other thing that caught my attention today was yet another bloke was beaten and left for dead after asking a gang of scumbags not to urinate in his garden.
Fortunately he survived, but the news, the ITV lunchtime news, to name names, chose to take advantage of the story to have a go at the heavily regulated drinks industry for making booze too cheap.
In the article they showed how easy it was for a 15 yr old to buy vodka. There is the answer, I have said it before in my rants, it’s the shops to blame, not the people who make the stuff.

Alcohol is not produced for the underage; they shouldn’t be able to buy it. If the law were enforced perhaps the likes of the unfortunate chap who confronted the drunken teen scum would have been able to sit in house watching his telly, safe and sound drinking the same beer that apparently was to blame for his battering.

I like the fact wine is only £3 odd for a half decent bottle, in the summer I like a beer in the garden, its good its only £5.00 for 6 cans, why should I, or you pay more than need be because certain greedy/stupid in fact criminal people in shops sell booze to kids.

We need to stand up and be counted, make our voices heard, or the underclass of society or the modern age temperance lovers are going to influence ignorant public opinion and ruin the good life we have worked for in our country.
