Today is cold and windy and drizzle, so yes we do get that weather too, however unlike my sunny weekend which took me up to the gorgeous village of Torrox, whereby the Pueblo(village) was holding an Arts & Craft day including local produce - which is always of interest to me, there was plenty of homemade marmalades, homemade wines, breads cakes, churros ( very traditional spanish almost like a doughnut) locals artists, homemade jewellery and much more. The ambience was fun and fresh with local live music beating out, street cafe/bars full, with this great bustle ( but not shoulder to shoulder and manic) just pure pleasure to wander at your own leisure sample products, and sit with a nice cafe con leche con cognac - and people watch, top of my list of hobbies i can spend hours sitting in local squares watching the charaters of people. After this exhausting people watching it was a trip 4 minutes down to the Costa ( coast ) for a nice lunch and a huge walk to burn off all my calories, which was in a German restaurant, excellent food - and the walk breathtaking with the sea air, you could walk for hours having the waves to watch as you walk. i am glad i made the most of the weekend forecast is looking grim all week. What does one do with oneselve when it rains in Spain?
