ABBEY MEADS SUNDAY
TOTAL 90 are still piling on the pressure at the top of the Swindon Abbey Meads Sunday 6-a-side Leisure Leagues Premier Division, as Ashley Hedge cut down relegation-haunted Penhill FC in a 14-1 rout of the strugglers.
Valley FC remain top of the pile on virtue of goal difference though as they saw off rivals Surreal Madrid 5-2, and they now lie three points adrift of the top pair.
God With An Extra ‘O’ are top of Division One by five points after their 13-1 mauling of Swindon Torpedos FC, but Sevenfields kept their hand in the title race with a pulsating 7-6 win over MUFC, thanks to Liam Drew.
Old’em Pathetic’s slim hopes of the second promotion berth remain alive after their 6-3 victory over Help For Heroes.
ST JOSEPH’S SUNDAY
Boca Seniors compounded Scouting For Goals’ poor start to the St Joseph’s Sunday league season, as they eased through to a comfortably 4-0 win.
Gorse Hill Blues are top of the pile on goal difference despite being held to a goalless draw by FC Whitered, whilst Wilts Ham United are level on points with them in third after a 1-1 draw with Parkz & Co.
