DOZENS of people flocked to Pinehurst Community Centre for the Pinehurst May Day Fayre on Saturday.
Children's rides, a netball tournament and several stalls were running throughout the day with the proceeds going towards a number of charitable organisations in Swindon.
The Deputy Mayor of Swindon, Coun Peter Stoddart, attended the event and made a special presentation to Doreen and Reg Wilcox in appreciation of all their fundraising efforts on behalf of Cancer Research.
The fayre was open from 11am until 3pm.
Eleanor Baughn, Pinehurst Community Centre secretary, said: "I think everybody enjoyed themselves and every stall was run by an individual charity.
"We also try to raise a little bit of money to go towards the running of the community centre so it's an important annual event.
"We had stalls with bric-a-brac, cakes, games, sweets and a tombola, while the netball tournament organised by Doreen Wilcox finished between 2pm and 2.30pm."
