JUNE 3 2006, SWINDON: THIS year's Dragonfly Ball is guaranteed to get the town buzzing.
The first of the Town Garden's all-day outdoor music events of the summer has been set for Saturday, June 3.
It celebrates Swindon's local nature reserves and environment, the Dragonfly Ball will feature live indie, house and hip hop acts, including music from the Beat Bullyz, Belarus, Captain Mandate, Buswell and many other local artists and bands.
DJs, including The Catman, Para, DJ Faydz and Ben One will also be performing.
Other activities including a willow workshop and circus skills will also be available.
The show begins at 3pm until 10.30pm followed by an after party at Studio nightclub.
Own food and drink is not permitted into the bowl.
Organic refreshments and a licensed bar will be available.
Tickets cost £10 for adults in advance, £12 on the day. Family and concession prices also apply.
