A HIGHWORTH man has raised nearly £2,400 for charity after running in last month's London Marathon.
Graham Seeley, 49, of Cricklade Road, pictured, completed the gruelling 26.2-mile event in four hours and eight minutes raising a total of £2,389 in the process.
Mr Seeley, who suffers from ulcerative colitis and is a member of Highworth Running Club, will give £1,627 of the money raised to the National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease, while the Bobby Moore Fund for bowel cancer will benefit to the tune of £762.
Mr Seeley said of his fundraising efforts: "I am absolutely chuffed with the final amount as I had only aimed to raise £1,000 in total."
