PLAY TIME at Holy Family Pre-School has got even better thanks to a donation of toys.
Children can also enjoy the fresh air after the grant from the Dettol Foundation was used to buy soft bark for an outside play area.
Among the new purchases are a new toy farm, farm animals, remote-control cars and letter writing sets.
The Parks pre-school, which caters for children aged two to five, has been running for 22 years and relies on government grants and fundraising by parents.
Jadz Szuster, supervisor at the pre-school, said: "Many of the children who come to Holy Family do not have safe outside areas around their home in which to play and the soft bark will benefit them greatly by allowing them to play safely in the fresh air."
Emma Gilbert, a spokeswoman for the Dettol Foundation, said: "When we heard that Holy Family Pre-School were in need of some outdoor play facilities we wanted to help. They provide such a great start for children in Swindon that we are only too happy to help their cause."
The foundation is an organisation set up by Reckitt Benckiser to make a difference to families and young children in Swindon.
