ONE of Swindon's fastest growing artists' groups is holding an exhibition throughout May at Inkspot Arts and Crafts in Edgeware Road.
The exhibition features paintings from both of the club's two groups, which have artists ranging in age from 11 right up to 80.
And the display will feature something for everyone after it was officially opened on Friday.
"We have absolutely everything," said Haydon Artists founder Barbara Moody.
"Some of the young girls have done modern cartoon-type pictures, while other members have gone for more traditional styles such as landscapes or animal painting.
"We have watercolours and pastels and we're hoping the exhibition will turn out to be as successful as some of our others as quite a few of our members have sold their work."
The show will run until the end of the month, with three pictures already snapped up by buyers.
Haydon Artists currently has more than 50 members, despite only being in its fourth year.
The group meets every Thursday at North Swindon Library at 7pm and there is a daytime session at Haydon Wick Council Rooms on Tuesdays at 10am.
Barbara is also looking into the idea of starting an Open Studio Trail, but this will take a year to set up.
In the meantime Barbara would like to hear from any artists or crafts people who work from their own homes.
If you would like to get involved in the studio trail contact Barbara by emailing her at Barbara. moody@virgin.net or by calling 01793 722410.
