HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction has hosted the first Constructing Excellence Club for Swindon, inviting various members of the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire councils along with local construction companies.
Constructing Excellence aims to deliver improved industry performance resulting in a demonstrably better built environment.
The idea is that Swindon's building and construction industry will speak with a single voice and provide a forum for promoting excellence and innovation as welll as sharing views across all parts of the industry.
Hochtief Construction, with its UK HQ at the Windmill Hill Business Park, is one of the world's largest building companies.
It aims to promote good practice in the end to end construction/built environment process.
Mike Robertson, the business development director of Hochtief, said: " We are delighted to be in a position to have the first meeting of the Swindon Constructing Excellence Club.
"The ethos behind the club is one that Hochtief Construction fully endorses and has adapted as a key mechanism to drive our business forward."
