A TEENAGER was forced to hand over his wallet after he was assaulted by two men.
The incident happened at about 8pm on Thursday as the 16-year old walked along William Street.
The victim was approached by two men, assaulted and told to hand over his wallet.
Police are now looking for witnesses or anyone with information.
PC Joanna Field said: "Fortunately the victim was not seriously hurt and his wallet was recovered.
"However, this should not deter witnesses from coming forward."
The first of the two men was about 18, of medium build and wore a flat cap.
The second male was black, with a spotty complexion and dreadlock style hair.
Anyone with information can contact PC Field on 0845 408 7000.
