THE hunt is on to find Swindon's unsung heroes.
The Advertiser and Vodafone have joined forces to find this year's top lifesavers.
The Vodafone Life Savers Awards are an annual search for inspiring stories of men and women who have saved the life of another in extraordinary circumstances.
The awards honour all those who work in the emergency services, as well as members of the public.
The rescue must have happened in the past two years. If your nomination is selected as our top story, you and the lifesaver you nominate will each win a Vodafone live! with 3G mobile phone.
The winner will go on to the south west judging, from where a national competitor could be chosen for the final in London. To nominate, write to the Adver at 100 Victoria Road Swindon, SN1 3BE, saying in no more than 500 words why your nomination should be considered.
Please include the name of the rescuer and the person or people saved, as well as a daytime telephone number. All entries must be received by Friday, June 16.
