A PENSIONER has had her savings stolen after letting in three men who claimed they were there to inspect the drains.
The incident happened in Bellver, Toothill, yesterday at about 2.20pm.
The three were allowed into the elderly woman's house. While one kept her talking, and asking her to hold the tap, the other two went upstairs and found her savings.
Police say the men got away with between £1,300 and £1,500 and a pension book.
One of the men was white, with short dark hair and of stocky build. He was 5ft 7ins. He could have been foreign.
He was wearing a black T-shirt and trousers.
There are no other descriptions of the other men and it is not known whether they left in a vehicle.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Swindon police on 0845 408 7000.
