PEOPLE thinking about returning to education are being invited to take part in an advice week.
The University of Bath in Swindon is hosting a free creative arts and advice week next month.
It will give people over the age of 21 a chance to find out more about life as a mature student, meet students who are already at the university and to take part in a range of creative workshops such as collage, drawing and animation.
Pauline Pratt, director of the week, said: "The aim of the creative arts and advice week is to raise the participants' educational aspirations and to offer advice and information about the educational opportunities available to them.
"The course will combine informal talks, the opportunity to meet people over 21 who have recently returned to education, plus the chance to try their hand at a range of creative activities.
"It came about as a result of demand from parents whose children took part in one of the university's creative arts weeks aimed at local schoolchildren."
Breakfast and lunch will be provided free of charge, as will all materials.
Those with young children will also be able to use the campus creche.
The university campus is in Marlowe Avenue, Walcot.
