PEOPLE living in the town are being urged to tell the council what matters to them.
Over the past year a range of topics have been investigated by councillors sitting on overview and scrutiny committees.
Subjects have included new school improvements, recycling, sheltered housing and chewing gum problems.
Following their investigations, the results and recommendations will be reported to the council's main cabinet committee.
Now the overview and scrutiny committees is drawing up a list of subjects to investigate over the next year.
Residents are asked to think of topics under the following headings: Is there an issue affecting the town that you believe needs to be investigated? Is there a service that you feel is not delivering? Are you aware of a decision that needs to be challenged? And how do you think Swindon can be improved?
As well as putting forward suggestions for topics to be investigated, people can also get involved by going along to meetings if they have views on the topics being looked at.
Anyone who has a topic which they think might merit further investigation can log on to www.swindon.gov.uk and click on the letter O.
Alternatively call 01793 463109.
