SWINDON police have arrested four men in connection with an assault on a driver near the Asda Wal-Mart store in North Swindon.
The motorist was travelling along Thamesdown Drive near the supermarket at about 3.30pm last Thursday.
As he turned into Pennine Way, a white Renault Megane with a distinctive black bonnet, pulled in front of him forcing him to stop.
Three men got out of the Megane and pulled the victim out of his car before assaulting him.
Four men, aged 18, 21, 26 and 32, from the Middlesex area, were arrested in connection with the incident on Thursday.
They have been interviewed and bailed pending further inquiries.
Swindon police are renewing their appeal for anyone who may have seen the attack or anyone with information to come forward.
In particular, officers are keen to speak to drivers and, or, passengers of two vehicles that were stationary at the junction of Thamesdown Drive and Lady Lane, near Asda Wal-Mart, at the time of the assault.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Shaun Dodson at Swindon police on 0845 408 7000 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
