A CARPENTER has been disqualified from driving for 32 months and ordered to go on an 18-month community supervision order after drink driving.
David McArthur, 36, of Haywain Close, Abbey Meads, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol and to driving without insurance at Swindon Magistrates' Court.
His licence was endorsed and he was ordered to complete a drink impaired drivers programme following the offence on April 8.
Chairwoman of the bench Malathy Sitaram told McArthur: "You shouldn't have driven that night as you know only too well now.
"However I am sure you have learnt your lesson.
"You have ended up in court and had to go through all this for that irresponsible offence."
