CHILDREN across Swindon are being given the chance to find out how the town is celebrating Brunel 200.
To mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great engineer, every pupil at schools and colleges across the town are being given a copy of the Swindon Brunel 200 Commemorative Souvenir Brochure.
It contains details about all of the events taking place in the town to mark the celebrations.
And pupils at Robert Le Kyng School were among the first to receive their copies.
Students of all ages at the school have been learning about the father of the Great Western railway in lessons.
And headteacher Maran White said it was a great idea to hand out the brochure to the children.
"It is a wonderful souvenir for them to have," she said.
The Swindon Brunel 200 commemorative Brochure, which is sponsored by the New Swindon Company, is available from the Tourist Information Centre, the Wyvern Theatre, Arts Centre and the Steam Museum.
