Children from Liden Primary School braved the wind and rain for a sponsored walk.
They were raising money for the Prospect Hospice in Wroughton.
And some pupils managed to do 15 laps around the outside of the school making sure they raised as much cash as possible.
Each year the school council chooses a local charity. This year the council put it to a vote and decided on Prospect.
And they thought a good way to get the cash would be to walk around the outside of the school.
"We enjoy raising money for charities and all of the pupils enjoy getting involved," said headteacher Paul Kohn.
"It was a shame about the weather because it meant we had to stay on the tarmac and avoid the school fields but we had a good time.
"Some pupils managed 14 and 15 laps while others finished after eight or nine."
The school don't yet know how much has been raised but is hoping it will give the hospice's fundraising target a healthy boost.
Each year Prospect has to find £2m in fundraising.
