PUPILS at a Swindon primary school have been going bananas and strawberries and apples.
As part of a campaign to highlight the need for healthy eating, children and staff at Robert Le Kyng primary school were encouraged to find out more about and try a range of fruit.
And everyone got involved.
The fun-filled day was the finale of the World Cancer Research Fund's annual cancer prevention week.
The fund's goal for the campaign is to increase public awareness of the links between diet, nutrition and cancer prevention, and to raise valuable funds for our cancer research and education programmes.
Activities have been taking place across the country and people took part in a Beat the Banana Fun Run.
The 5km event was held at Clifton Downs, Bristol and in London's Hyde Park and saw people running after the giant fruit, trying to beat it to the finishing line.
