A CHARITY that helps people with mental health problems has been given a set of gardening tools.
Twigs, which helps people through therapeutic horticulture and related arts, were given the trowels and spades by the Greenbridge Retail Park.
The tools were originally bought for the retail centre's Green Force Garden makeover and will now be used by the charity to complete their Brunel-inspired garden in Farnsby Street.
Penny Errill, a horticultural therapist at Twigs, said: "We are very grateful to Greenbridge for supplying us with these super gardening tools.
"We will certainly get a lot of use from them during the Brunel project and in the long term future."
The retail centre also donated a new bird bath.
Greenbridge centre manager Simon Pullen said: "It's delightful to see the tools being used by Twigs on gardens such as Brunel and I am happy to see that they can now benefit the community of Swindon many times again."
