A SPECTACULAR show, costing £300,000, is coming to the town this weekend.
Stuntman Andy Hobbs and his Over The Top motorcycle team are preparing for the debut performance of their new routine on home turf.
The team, which has been going strong for nearly 10 years, is set to perform at the Fun E' Farm family fun day at Chapel Farm, Blunsdon on Saturday and Sunday.
The six-member group will perform a range of breath-taking stunts on motorbikes, quad bikes and three-wheeled buggies.
The daredevils are more used to audiences of around 20,000.
But the group is looking forward to beginning the tour of the fresh routine on home ground with some familiar faces to cheer them on.
Five of the members are from the town while the other lives in Abingdon.
They include professional film stuntmen and former Swindon speedway rider Barry Barbecue' Duke.
As well as the daring team members jumping through burning rings of fire, Andy will be joining forces with the emergency services in a race against time as they demonstrate cutting someone free from a crashed vehicle.
Despite his team making it look so easy, Andy, of Lydiard Millicent, is quick to point out how dangerous some of the stunts can be.
He said: "We develop each routine slowly and surely to make sure the risk is minimal and all the performers are trained to the highest standards.
"I'm very proud of my boys. What they do, at the end of the day, is dangerous.
"It's very rarely we'll go through a season without one of the boys ending up in a hospital somewhere."
Fun E' Farm organiser Les Fearn is thrilled the group will be performing at the event.
"I think it will be good not only for myself but for the local people to have a home team on their own patch," he said.
Gates open at 11.30am both days and close at 6pm.
Shows start at 1pm.
Entry is £9 for adults and £5 for children aged five to 14. Under fives get in free.
