THE British Red Cross needs people to help out at its new office in Wootton Bassett.
The charity operates a Medical Equipment Service from the office, loaning equipment such as wheelchairs to the public.
It is looking for people who have spare time to volunteer.
They would be taking phone calls, issuing equipment to people and completing paperwork.
People who borrow equipment often like to talk about their experiences so a listening ear also helps.
Volunteers would receive training and support. In addition, expenses would be paid to volunteers.
If you are a caring person who would like to help others and can commit to a weekday morning or afternoon each week, call Julie Linter, the service manager, on 01793 859931 or email her at jlinter@redcross.org.uk for further details
