FOOTBALL fans across the town are building up to World Cup fever.

And one Swindon family is showing the England team that they have their full support.

Heidi Weston, of Wootton Bassett, has covered her Queen's Road home with England flags.

From the two big flags hanging on the house, to three on poles in the garden to the bunting on her garden fence, Heidi's home is a sea of red and white.

"You've got to show that you support your country," said the 26-year-old.

"And that's exactly what I'm doing.

"I put them up in stages but it took me a couple of days.

"But it was certainly well worth it."

The Newcastle fan said that her three children, aged nine, seven and two, all think it is great.

And, along with most of the country, the family has fingers crossed that England can repeat the great victory of 1966 World Cup team.

"I think we've got as good a chance as any of the teams of winning," said Heidi.

"We've got some new talent in the field so we'll have to see how they do.

"We've got a lot of young blood like Theo Walcott in the team so hopefully that will do us some good."

The family is planning to hold a barbecue on Saturday June 10, which is the day of England's first match against Paraguay.

"It should be a good day, and hopefully the weather will be sunny," she said.

"We've got about 20 people coming over to watch the match and hopefully the boys over in Germany will do us proud on the field."

Although Heidi is unsure of how many flags are flying, she said her neighbour had counted 37.

"They all think I'm a bit crazy," she said.

"I honestly didn't know how many I had put up, but there are definitely quite a few.

"But it's all good fun and at least everyone seems to like it."
