CHILDREN have been uncovering hidden treasure at Coate Water.
But they were not interested in digging up gold or jewels.
Instead they were looking for bugs as they embarked on an insect treasure hunt.
It is all part of the Swindon Ranger Team's summer activity programme which encourages young people to get outside and enjoy Swindon's open spaces.
The hunt, called Nature Bingo, sees children running around the park looking for clues to uncover an array of different creepy crawlies.
And despite the wet weather everyone had a good time.
All summer the rangers are hoping to attract more young people to Swindon's nature reserves.
