PEOPLE in the mood to be entertained on Saturday are being reminded to get themselves down to the Old Town Gardens Bowl for the Dragonfly Ball.
The bowl will be transformed into an environmental and musical showcase as part of the annual celebration of Swindon Ranger Service's Nature For All programme.
The Dragonfly Ball is an outdoor dance event from 3pm to late.
It will feature a wide range of entertainment, the musical line-up including Belarus, Captain Mandate, Beatbullyz and Ektos, as well as a host of DJs.
After 10.30pm, any guest wearing a Dragonfly Ball wristband will be able to get into the After Party with Soul II Soul at Studio Nightclub in Old Town for free.
Since it began, Nature For All has increased the number of nature reserves in the borough from two to five and encouraged more people to take an interest in the local environment.
Coun Justin Tomlinson, the cabinet member for leisure, culture and recreation, said: 'This year the Dragonfly Ball has a great line up of DJs and local bands, plus circus skills, willow and performing arts workshops, and a kid's zone. It's a brilliant day out for all the family."
Ball tickets are available in advance from the Tourist Information Centre, Arts Centre, Link Centre and Oasis Centre.
Once inside, all entertainment is free.
There will be a good selection of organic food and refreshments available.
