A Swindon firm is inviting everyone to go ‘doughnutty’ as part of National Doughnut Week.
Pippin Doughnuts has a stall at the Farmers’ Market in the Designer Outlet Village in Rodbourne on Sunday, which runs from 10am to 4pm, where staff are challenging young and old to decorate a doughnut.
Carol Brough, from Pippin Doughnuts normally based at Kembrey Park, said: “We will provide the doughnut and all the decorations.
“The winner of the competition will have their doughnut recipe made into real doughnuts and they will receive a box to share amongst family and friends.’’ National Doughnut Week starts on Saturday and is to raise funds for The Children’s Trust, a national charity for youngsters with severe disabilities.
Carol said: “If you think broccoli and cheese would make a good doughnut combination or you fancy trying sticky toffee pudding doughnut or strawberry cream tea doughnut come and enter.’’
