CYCLISTS have less than a month to get their entries in for an annual charity bike ride.
The 14th Castles Bike Ride in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support is on Sunday, June 6, from 10am starting at the Croft Sports Centre, Marlborough Lane, Old Town.
Organiser Jill Greenaway said the ride had raised over £100 in entry fees so far. She said: “Somebody rang up and is hoping to enter a team of 24.”
Riders can choose between a 10-mile, 19-mile and 28-mile route that finishes at the starting spot.
Pre-registered entries are £5 and must be received by the Bike Ride office no later than June 3 – entering on the day costs £10. Children under 16 should be accompanied and entry is £2, but under 12s cannot enter. For more information visit www.castlesbikeride.co.uk or call 01793 521630.
