SWINDON Fairtrade Coalition is urging residents to think fair tomorrow.
World Fairtrade Day is designed as a reminder of the continuing responsibility to be aware of the needs of people in developing countries who are trying to lift themselves out of poverty.
Fairtrade not only gives the producers a guaranteed fair price for their products, but also provides the whole local community with additional funds for education, health care and various projects such as the installation of pumps to provide clean, safe water.
The Coalition is calling on Swindon shoppers to buy Fairtrade this weekend to support those living in poverty.
