BMM won the Swindon Advertiser Help for Heroes Golf Day at The Wiltshire Golf & Country Club which raised more than £600.

The money will go to our fund which is aiming to raise £50,000 through the Wiltshire Gazette and Herald, which is part of Newsquest Wiltshire and the sister paper of the Swindon Advertiser.

The winning team, consisting of Bryan Mathieson, Dai Davies, Tim Thompson and Micky Rodrigues, scored 105 to take the title by five points from their closest challengers, TS Tech.

Tech’s team was made up of Paul Macpherson, David Sinclair, Phil Mabbott and Anthony Davison.

Karen Crockett, sales and marketing manager for Newsquest, was delighted with the turn-out.

“It’s been a terrific day and I would like to say thank you to our sponsors, Pebley Beach Jaguar, BMM Marketing and Artisan, and to all those who came and played,” she said.
