THEY are among some of the best known faces in the UK but the cast of Calendar Girls have been showing audiences a lot more during the show’s tour.
The play, which runs at the Bristol Hippodrome from May 17 - 22, is based on the real life tale of a group of women from a Yorkshire WI group who sparked a global phenomenon when they posed off for a charity calendar with a difference.
The play stars former Neighbours actress Anne Charleston, Sue Holderness, Charlie Dimmock, Hannah Waterman, Gemma Craven, Elizabeth Bennett and Letitia Dean.
Ex-Eastenders actor Dean Gaffney is playing the role of the photographer.
And fans of the film can expect all the same heart-warming moments and comedy twists, as the script has been written by Tim Firth, who adapted the screenplay of the smash hit film.
The curtain goes up every night ay 7.30pm and there is a matinee performance at 2.30pm on May 19 and 22.
Tickets cost from £12.50 to £30 and are available by calling the box office on 0844 847 2341.
