TOTS at Busy Bees nursery pulled on their wellies and waterproof coats of a charity car wash.
The little helpers may have got wetter than the cars they were cleaning but that didn’t stop them raking in the cash in aid of the Bliss charity, which provides support to premature and sick babies.
Among the young car-washers from Busy Bees, in Shearwood Road, Peatmoor, were little Ryan Lees, two, Esme Godfrey, two, and Chloe King, three.
They helped staff and parents wash 20 cars in the first two hours of the event. Bliss was founded in 1980, offers guidance and information at a critical time in families’ lives as well as funding research in the hope that babies receive the best possible level of care.
Lucy Hitt, deputy manager at Busy Bees, said: “The children have worked really, really hard to get the cars sparkling clean in aid of Bliss.
“It is a charity really very close to our hearts so we have been really pleased to have so many people ask us to wash their cars to support the cause.”
