BLEARY-EYED but elated, Swindon Town fans are today preparing for their first visit to the new Wembley Stadium after last night's thrilling victory against Charlton Athletic.
The match went into extra time followed by penalties as Town battled for their place in the League One play-off final at the end of the month, when they will face either Millwall or Huddersfield.
They emerged triumphant at 5-4 against Charlton - but the late finish left many fans struggling to get back to Swindon.
Having missed the last train back, many were forced to find alternative routes home with fans clubbing together to share taxis back to town from Didcot Parkway.
