A TEENAGER from Swindon has won a host of international engineering awards.
James Popper, 18, from Marlborough College, has scooped major prizes at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), in San Jose, California.
He beat 1600 students from around the world to win six awards and more than $20,000 worth of prizes in scholarships.
James’s project, ‘CookerSmart’, detects saucepan fires on domestic cookers.
