About 40 artists have been brushing up their techniques in time for a summer exhibition of painting and drawings.
The Guild of Wiltshire Artists is showing 100 pictures from Thursday, May 27, to Saturday, June 5, in St Peter’s Church, Marlborough, from 10am to 5pm.
Entry is free during opening times.
Some of the artists on show are Sonia Leggett with her picture of Summer Gold, Jim Downton with his picture of Jim Lennox Lewis, Catherine Pier with Fritillary Meadow, and Antonetta Newton-Tyers with Belly Dancer.
The guild also holds Saturday workshops at Broad Town Village Hall from 10.30am to 3pm with artists on hand for advice. The next is on June 19 and friends and non members are welcome.
