THOMAS the Tank Engine will be rolling into Britain’s most famous railway town this weekend.

Thomas’ fans will be able to engage in numerous activities surrounding his arrival on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm at the Steam museum in Kemble Drive.

While there is no running track, Thomas will be fired up with coal and water so that he is in steam for the weekend and children will be able to help Sir Topham Hatt ‘feed’ coal to Thomas and give him a drink of water to cool him down.

The weekend event will be packed with Thomas-themed activities, including bouncy castles, games and quizzes, face-painting, film shows, story-telling and Thomas’s Imagination Station.

Sir Topham will be check everything is in order and Thomas’s friend Percy will be at the nearby Designer Outlet Centre throughout the weekend.

Prices for the event are: £8.50 children (two-16 years); £10 adults; £8.50 senior citizens; £35 family ticket (two adults, two children) and £40 (two adults, three children).
