POLICE are seeking witnesses to an argument in Lydiard Country Park.
The incident occurred on Thursday, May 20, between 5.30pm and 6.30pm and involved a young man and woman.
Officers are hoping to speak to two sets of people who approached the couple to ensure “everything was all right”.
The couple were said to have walked from the park’s new car park, and nearby church, to Hay Lane, West Swindon.
The man was white, in his late 20s and 6ft. He had dark hair, dark trousers, dark hoodie and was carrying a blue rucksack.
The woman was white, in her late teens and 5ft 6in. She was wearing a white shirt, grey tracksuit bottoms and dark coloured footwear Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0845 4087000 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
