IF you’re thirsty for adventure you still have time to enter the gruelling Wanborough Beer Race.
The annual event, which takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, has been running for 53 years and normally around eight people can enter from each of the six pubs.
It starts from the New Calley Arms, going on to the Black Horse, the Plough, the Harrow Inn, the Brewers Arms and the Cross Keys, then returning to the New Calley Arms.
Contestants must drink half a pint at each pub, running between venues.
Participants have until Saturday to register by going into one of the pubs in the village and there are still places left.
They should be at the New Calley Arms at 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start.
Entry costs £5, which goes towards covering the cost of the event.
