Wootton Bassett will be showcasing a display of classic cars next weekend.
The vintage vehicles will be parked around the town hall in the High Street on Saturday, June 5 from noon-2pm as one in a series of free community events under a ‘Brilliant Bassett’ theme organised by volunteers from Wootton Bassett Chamber of Commerce, with the help of the town council.
A range of vehicles will be on display, from 80-year-old vintage cars to more modern classics, including a 1951 Daimler, 1967 Humber Super Snipe, 1938 Ford Model Y, MGs, MGBs and Minis. There will also be motorbikes, such as a classic Royal Enfield.
Catherine Cadogan, vice president of the chamber and organiser of the event, said: “Wandering around the variety of different cars on display and enjoying the friendly atmosphere is a great way to spend some time.”
