ROCK music fans will be entertained with a gig in aid of injured servicemen.
Swindon-based rock singer Steve Grimmett is doing a charity gig for Help for Heroes on Friday, July 2, at the Village Inn pub on Ramleaze Drive, Shaw, at 9pm.
He will sing a few of his own songs and cover versions.
Steve is in the process of writing a charity song for Help for Heroes with top Australian guitar player Stu Marshall.
Steve will be singing this song and it will also be available to buy on the night alongside Steve’s T-shirts and CDs.
All proceeds will go to Help for Heroes and their merchandise will also be on sale on the night.
Organisers hope people will give generously to the charity buckets doing the rounds and to a raffle and auction of goods that nearby companies have donated.
Prizes include the chance to win a day with Steve in his studio recording your own songs and one of the auction items is a Skype guitar lesson with Mr Marshall.
Entry to the event is free.
