God With An Extra ‘O’ put their title challenge back on track in the Swindon St Joseph’s 6-a-side league following last weeks disappointment, taking their frustrations out on Team Torin in devastating fashion, Tom Heinz starring in a 14-1 win.
Booya’s slim title hopes evaporated as they were held to a 3-3 draw by Bolingbroke Arms, Tom Wiltshire in fine form for the latter. Walcot Militants will certainly be the side to look out for next campaign as they hit We Were Good At School for six who could only muster a solitary response.
Elsewhere, Terry Cooke starred for View Park Rangers who handed out a 6-0 thumping to YOUT TV.
Total 90 took a massive leap towards the Abbey Meads 6-a-side Premier Division title following an emphatic 18-0 drubbing of DW Spots, Adam Drury the stand out performer.
The result proved to be even more significant as closest rivals Neils Tattoo Studio suffered a 6-1 reverse as the hands of MUFC, Blaine Fitzgerald with the man of the match display.
Los Galacticos and Valley FC also picked up thumping wins over Sevenfields, 12-0, and Inter, 11-1 respectively.
Penhill’s promotion aspirations took a serious setback in Division One as they went down at the hands of Inter, Carl Spencer giving the latter that extra edge in a 7-5 win.
