Psychotherapist and psychologist Dr Andreas Sofroniou, of Marlborough Road, Swindon, is the author of 22 books.
Now, the Greek-born writer has high hopes for his latest book The Towering Misfeasance.
It tells the story of a young Turkish man who gets caught in the middle of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
"It has taken two years to write, and it was difficult to get the main character correct. Even though I am Greek-born I decided to look at it from the Turkish point of view."
Over the years, Dr Sofroniou has written books on poetry, IT management, business information systems, philosophy and parenting.
And his fiction has a message.
"Over the years I have met many in practice with psychological problems that I wanted people to understand, and that's why I have written some of those into the characters of my books."
Brought up in Cyprus, Dr Sofroniou studied at the University of Indiana in the United States before moving to Britain and working in London's Harley Street Centre.
