MORE than 3,000 people were left out in the cold this evening as the Example gig at the Oasis was cancelled last minute due to a leak.
Scores of fans had made their way inside the venue before being told that the roof had sprung a leak and the performance would have to be cancelled.
The chart-topper, however, spent around an hour signing autographs and chatting to disheartened fans.
Oasis manager Owen Williams said if the concert was not rescheduled, fans could expect a full refund.
He said: "We did our best to repair the leak, but we have had to say after an hour of trying we are not going to be able to go ahead.
"We had a lot of unhappy people outside."
Torrential rain and gusts of strong winds are expected to continue through the night.
