A BONUS that is the equivalent to seven weeks pay will be arriving in payslips this month for everyone who works for John Lewis at Home.
The store, in Mannington, revealed this morning that they would be getting a 14 per cent bonus, along with all 81,000 employees of John Lewis and Waitrose across the country.
It comes after the John Lewis Partnership announced profits of £353.8m for last year, a reduction of £14.1m, or 3.8 per cent, from the year before.
Dominic Joyce, branch manager of John Lewis at home Swindon, said: “John Lewis at home Swindon has been open for just under 18 months and within that time, partners have worked hard to offer the first class service that John Lewis is renowned for, as well as quality product and a fantastic shopping experience.
“Electronic gadgets such as iPods, iPads, laptops and 3D TVs all proved very popular during the year and we have enjoyed healthy trade in curtains, linens and furniture.
“Our Partners should be rightfully proud of the performance and the bonus we have announced today.”
