Battle of the voices
THERE will be a hearty, but friendly, battle of English voices versus Welsh at a special concert in Holy Rood Church this weekend.
The Swindon Male Voice Choir welcome the Cor Godre’r Aran Male Voice Choir from North Wales on Saturday from 7.30pm in the church in Groundwell Road, Swindon.
The guest soloist will be Alice More, 15, from Marlborough. Tickets are £10 from 01793 822495.
