X FACTOR winner Matt Cardle wears his heart on his sleeve when he is writing and his new album is a reflection of all that he thinks and feels about love, life and relationships.
The 28-year-old will be performing songs from his debut CD, which includes the number one hit When We Collide, when he comes to Swindon’s Oasis Leisure Centre on Saturday.
Before the talent show shot Matt to fame, the Essex boy worked in various jobs, from building sites to factories, to fund his music.
“You name it, I’ve done it,’’ he said. “I didn’t want a career because I wanted to do music. I’m a musician. I’m a songwriter. I’m a performer.’’ After touring with the X Factor show, he released his first album, Letters, last October.
Tickets to see Matt in Swindon as part of the album promotion tour are £26.50 plus £2.50 booking fee from 01793 445401.
