STUDENTS from the Kirsty Farrow Dance Academy landed a haul of trophies in two competitions.
They took part in two dance festivals between February 13 and 18. One was the Kingswood Dance Eisteddfod in Bristol, which included sections of more than 25 competitors.
The academy’s winners included Francesca Lever, 16, and Ellie Wilson, 15.
Francesca came first in modern, national and tap solos, and second in the character solo.
Ellie Wilson came first in song and dance, contemporary and ballet solos, second in modern solo and third in lyrical solo.
Francesca and Ellie also came first in the character duet and second in the lyrical duet.
Isabel Edwards came second in the tap solo and Honey Hopes third in the character solo.
Ellie also took five more trophies for song and dance, ballet, classical duet, contemporary solo cup and highest mark in the dance section.
Francesca also took eight more trophies across the categories.
Senior students took part in the Wiltshire Dance Festival in Swindon.
Ellie, Shannon Winsbury and Atalya Atherton all took trophies.
