POP band Mcfly were as much in the limelight for their reality TV exploits as their music last year, with bass player Dougie Poynter scooping the title in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and drummer Harry Judd crowned Strictly Come Dancing champion.
McFly also released the album Above The Noise last November, which spawned the band’s biggest single, Shine A Light, which sold more than 300,000 copies in the UK.
This year they are back on the road with the Keep Calm And Play Louder tour, stopping off at the Oasisin Swindon next Thursday.
Joining Dougie and Harry in the band are Tom Fletcher on lead vocals, guitar and piano and Danny Jones on lead vocals and guitar.
McFly have notched up 18 top 20 singles, seven reached number 1 in the UK Singles Chart, and 15 made the top ten. The group have also performed at various charity projects such as Comic Relief, Children in Need, Live 8 and Sport Relief.
